#162: Valentine's Day Gifts > Christmas Gifts
I’m a firm believer that Valentine’s Day gifts are way better than Christmas gifts.
For your customers, at least.
I’ve never liked the rush of planning customer gifts around the holidays—they are already fraught with planning the holiday party, getting ready for your personal gift exchanges, and a million other priorities that consume the last two months of the year.
Holiday gifts get lost in the shuffle. Everyone sends them, so your carefully-chosen present ends up having less impact, arrives after the holiday is past, or is delivered when the recipient is already out on their year-end vacation.
Not to mention the minefield of religious and political beliefs around December’s many holidays and how to recognize them. I’d rather avoid that, thank you very much.
Instead, I’ve always sent my customer gifts for Valentine’s Day. No one expects them, there aren’t any “wars” on the holiday to worry about, and isn’t a nice gift just another way of showing love?
